Bonjour!I would like to extend to all parents and students a warm welcome to another year at Wilfrid Walker! I am looking forward to meeting all of you throughout the year as I help guide students through their grade 6, grade 7 and grade 8 years. This will be my fourth year here at Wilfrid Walker. I truly enjoy working here and I am excited to continue to be a part of this team and a member of the Wilfrid Walker community. I hope to continue to share my love of the French language with all students!
I am looking forward to being the homeroom teacher for the grade 6 and grade 7 students. I will be teaching them French Reading and Writing, Social Studies, and Science. I am also looking forward to continuing to teach Social Studies and Science to the grade grade 7 and grade 8 students, as well as Grade 8 Math. |
My history and schooling |
I grew up in a household that spoke both French and English, and I went to École Monseigneur de Laval from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. I then continued my education at the University of Regina, pursuing my bachelor’s degrees for five years, the second year being completed at Laval University in Quebec. I finished my studies in 2012, obtaining both a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, with a French major, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with a major in French and a minor in Social Studies. I am currently working on my Masters of Education Degree through the University of Regina.

Hobbies and interests |
I am always curious about my students hobbies and interests, and consequently have decided to share the same of myself this year! In my spare time, I enjoy walking my puppy, going to the gym, coaching and playing volleyball, reading both novels and historical non-fiction, watching movies and historical documentaries, traveling and baking. Although you may assume differently with my age, I still have a great deal of difficulty with technology and I am not well versed in social media. This website is a very new thing for me, and it will take some time before I can feel comfortable both using and editing it. Thank you for your patience and support throughout this process!
